Technologies for tool-free color temperature and brightness adjustment of luminaires

On the lighting market, there is an increasing demand to adjust the colour temperature and brightness of non-controllable luminaires after installation and on site as required. This accommodates the manufacturer of the luminaires. The later the product characteristics are individualised, the more economically (through mass production) the production can be designed. A task arises: how can the colour temperature (CCT) and brightness adjustment be made as easy and tool-free as possible for the user? At the same time, the method should have an innovative character and not exceed a defined cost framework. Within the scope of this work, several possibilities for adjustment should be determined. These are to be analysed for their feasibility under the economic, technical and marketing criteria. The most promising solution should be realized in the form of a prototype.
