Further development of an electronic test logbook according to VDE 0108

The VDE 0108-100-1 standard specifies the specifications and requirements for emergency lighting systems. Among other things, it requires a regular daily and weekly functional test of all emergency luminare in a lighting system. The results of this test must be recorded and stored for several years, ready for access. In a medium-sized industrial facilities, several dozen of such luminares may be installed distributed. And on the entire industrial plant, the number rises rapidly. Manual functional testing would be extremely time-consuming and not feasible. Automatic tests are therefore permissible. NORKA Automation should be the first luminaire manufacturer to offer the "Electronic test book according to VDE 0108" function on the market with its professional lighting control system. This function is to be developed and integrated as a function module in the existing lighting management system of a pilot plant.
